Electric Callboy feat. The Offspring - LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL

The music video for the track “LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL” by German electronicore band Electric Callboy and punk rock legends The Offspring is an explosive mix of signature madness, pop-punk, and heavy riffs. Released on June 5, 2026, it serves as a single for Electric Callboy’s upcoming album, TANZNEID.

For the guys in Electric Callboy, this collaboration was a surreal experience. They have repeatedly admitted that they grew up listening to The Offspring and that California punk shaped their taste long before forming their own band. Meanwhile, The Offspring frontman Dexter Holland noted that the track immediately brought a smile to his face with its unpredictability and drive, which made him eager to contribute his recognizable vocals and star in the video.

Filmed in Los Angeles, the video resembles a concentrated parade of absurdity and fun. Alongside the band members and Dexter Holland, a host of notable and unexpected guest stars appear on screen:

  • Howie Mandel — famous comedian and TV host (known for America’s Got Talent and Deal or No Deal).
  • Brian Posehn — comedian-actor and die-hard heavy music fan, whom you might recognize from The Big Bang Theory or The Mandalorian.
  • John Goblikon — the iconic mascot and “green goblin” of the metal band Nekrogoblikon, who fit right into the video’s comical chaos.

Throughout the video, mysterious bright pink boxes flash across various locations. The band turned this visual motif into a massive interactive alternate reality game (ARG) for fans: following the video’s release, matching boxes began popping up at summer European festivals and in major city centers worldwide. By finding them, fans unlock clues, codes, and easter eggs related to the upcoming album release.

Musically, fans also spotted a cool detail: the verse melody subtlely pays nostalgic homage to The Offspring’s classic hit, “Staring at the Sun.”

The video turned out to be an ideal summer festival anthem—featuring everything fans love about both bands: energy, a complete lack of taking themselves too seriously, and genuine fun.
