«Nightmare Tripping» is the fifth studio album by British rock band Don Broco, released on March 27, 2026, via SharpTone Records. The record became the long-awaited successor to the successful «Amazing Things» (2021) and further cemented the band’s reputation as one of the leading innovators and experimenters on the modern alternative music scene.
The album strikes a perfect balance between crushing riffs, danceable grooves, dark atmospheres, and the band’s trademark sarcastic sense of humor.
The title «Nightmare Tripping» reflects the album’s chaotic yet captivating concept. According to frontman Rob Damiani, the release explores the state of the modern individual, forced to navigate the absurdity of endless news cycles, personal anxieties, and the desire to escape it all by losing themselves on the dance floor.

“We wanted to create the soundtrack to a party happening at the end of the world. On one hand, the lyrics are quite paranoid and unsettling — a genuine trip through the darkest corners of the mind. On the other, we’ve never written tracks that are this groovy, danceable, and downright insane. It’s heavy music that makes you want to jump around.”
The album’s sound pushes Don Broco’s trademark eclecticism to its limits. Simon Delaney’s heavy djent and nu-metal guitar riffs intertwine unexpectedly with funky bass lines, 1980s-inspired synthesizers, and powerful contemporary electronic production.
