“Night Is Calling” is the third studio album by German power metal band Dominum, released on July 3, 2026, via Napalm Records.
Led by vocalist and producer Felix Heldt, better known as Dr. Dead, the band continues to expand its signature “zombie metal” (horror metal) concept. Their music successfully blends crushing riffs, symphonic elements, a theatrical horror atmosphere, and irresistibly catchy arena-sized choruses, all infused with a healthy dose of dark humor.

The album was mixed by renowned producer Jacob Hansen, giving it a dense, polished, and thoroughly modern sound, highlighted by expressive guitar solos and the driving rhythm section of the band’s “zombie musicians”—Tommy Kemp, Patient 0, and Victor Hilltop.
The album’s centerpiece and title track, “Night Is Calling,” features a guest appearance by Marina La Torraca, vocalist of Finnish metal band Battle Beast. The duet adds an extra layer of epic grandeur and a powerful vocal contrast to the song.
The tracklist also includes a metal cover of Michael Jackson’s legendary hit “Thriller,” which fits perfectly within the band’s zombie-themed aesthetic.
